Saint Martin in Italy is known as the good wine’s festival! Also this year the wineries open their doors to wine lovers, enthusiasts and experts to taste the new wine accompanied by chestnuts and traditional local dishes.

The motto of the event Cantine Aperte 2019 on the occasion of Saint Martin’s festival is “Wine is born, the party breaks out!” The event is promoted by the Italian Wine Tourism Movement (MTV) and involves the participating wineries on Sunday 10 November and Monday 11 November 2019.

The occasion is that of the celebrations in honour of Saint Martin. During this festival it is traditional to taste the new wine, that is the new wine produced by the winery. Thus, each winery will present the wines of the new vintage to the public.

The participating wineries welcome visitors from morning to evening. On this occasion, it will be possible to visit the winery and the company and taste not only the new wine but also the historic labels of the cellars.

Now the temperature is still very mild in our region, this will certainly be a beautiful day in which to enjoy the open air and the shows that the wineries will offer, including exhibitions and music.
