But why choose to take a wine tour in Salento?

Puglia is a territory strongly characterized by wine production in the world panorama. For those who want to know this aspect of the Apulian food and wine tradition, Salento is the ideal wine destination. A wine tour in Salento allows you to discover not only all aspects of the magnificent production of Salento wines but also to learn about cultural aspects, landscapes, and architecture. All these elements, outside the most inflated destinations frequented by tourists on holiday in Salento.

Salento is a very large territory that includes the Province of Lecce but is also part of the Province of Brindisi and Taranto. The Salento wineries are many and spread throughout this large area. Identifying them and choosing which ones to visit can be very complicated for a tourist who does not know the area very well. Moreover, often the wineries of Salento are characterized by being very small companies therefore not always open or organized for wine tourism.

Our wine tour allows you to optimize the time you have available thanks to our deep knowledge of the territory and the great ability to collaborate with the wineries themselves. An effective and efficient network to guarantee the best experience in a wine tour in Salento.

Together we will get to know the main indigenous grape varieties of Salento – Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia – and you will discover completely different wines while using the same blend. I would learn how each Salento vineyard, thanks to its unique location in the territory, produces grapes with very different characteristics even in vineyards only a few kilometers away from each other.

If you don’t have enough time for our wine tour, you can book a Salento wine tasting with an expert guide in the wonderful city of Lecce.
