Homemade Salento’s Wines and food tasting

Do you stay in Salento for your Holiday and would you like to try the typical Apulian and Salento food and wines? Do you want to learn new recipes of Italian cuisine? Do you want to learn how to correctly combine the different types of wine with typical Italian dishes? Attend a lunch or dinner at my house. In my wines and food tasting I will prepare traditional Apulian and Salento dishes with you. You can have lunch or dinner in my house and we will taste different Salento wine labels, from fresh and aromatic whites to the famous Salentino rosé, up to the most elegant and structured reds.

We prepare your food and wine experience in Puglia starting from the best local products: Apulian bread, Salento cheeses, first and second courses typical of Salento.

What does the Wines and food tasting include

The experience includes:

• Mini Salento’s cooking school
  
• Explanation of the history  and the food and wine culture of Salento and Puglia
• Pairing and tasting of Salento’s wines white, red and rosè, such as negroamaro, primitivo, susumaniello, fiano and verdeca.
• Lunch or dinner with the dishes prepared during the experience. You will taste typical dishes – such as Apulian orecchiette or meatballs with sauce – accompanied by fresh sauces, seasonal vegetables, tomatoes, rocket, mozzarella and burrata, local cured meats. Finally, different types of Apulian bread, focaccia and sweets of the Salento tradition.  
• SPECIAL SERVICES:
  Also available with a small surcharge is the withdrawal from your residence even if located outside the municipality of Lecce.
